Real simple. Real flavorful. Use it on toast, bagels and waffles or in mushrooms, soup, even on a steak. You can make variations by replacing the thyme with rosemary to use while baking chicken too.
- 1 stick salted butter, softened
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh thyme leaves, roughly chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Whisk together all the ingredients and spoon into a ramekin.
- Chill covered for at least 2 hours.
- Bring to room temperature before serving.
